Running PDFCreator on XP over a network

Hello all

Firstly - Frank, I thought I'd move my topic up here as I didn't quite get to grips with the forum yesterday.
My problem is this. We'd like to run this over a network so we can install PDFCreator as a network printer, let users add it, and set it up to save to a default networked shared folder.
As a test I've installed it on my machine and shared it out so my boss can see it. Within it's options, I've left the temp directory as is but enabled auto-save to point to my desktop. When I run a "print" locally things easily save to my desktop. However when my boss' machine tries, nothing appears. What's going wrong? He shouldn't need access to my C:/, as he's accessing my "local" printer.

Please advise anyone!

Jody

Thanks - so is there a server installation of pdf creator then? It says make sure it's not run in application mode, was does this mean?

It means, when you install PDFCreator on a terminalserver in the application mode you shouldn't use the server installation. You must use the standard installation.
If you install PDFCrator on a "default" printer server it is recommend that you use the server installation.

Double click on the setup-exe and go through the setup ("Type of Installation"). ;-)
