Where does one set the page format or size? I couln't find it anywhere...

Normally you set the paper format/size in your application.
For some special cases you can use the hidden parameter "Papersize" or "DeviceWidthPoints, DeviceHeightPoints".

Is there a simpler way to force PDFCreator to deafault to printer size paper, as in it currently defaults to 8.3 x 11.7inches even though ALL my printer settings are set to A4

When you click 'print", select PDF creator, then open its "Properties. Select the tag "layout", then "Advanced". It provides a large selection of formats, and lets you even customize the size.
However, it seems it doesn't work, my PDF are always in A4...

My PDFCreator is always in Letter size and I want it in A4. I don't understand how can I modify it after the installation.
