When I print to the PDF, the font color becomes much lighter, so printing from the PDF does not look as good as the original. Please help!

Could be you are printing in CMYK. Change colour to RGB!
Definitely not using grey font. It is black when printing from original WORD doc. Upgraded to the latest PDF version - Loading the icon bar corrupted IE and Visio software that I had to reinstall.
