Custom Paper Size Conversion Issue

Have a MS Word .doc that is sized to 4" x 6". When converted to PDF, the new document does not retain the custom size of 4x6 and defaults to 8.5 x 11". Is there a way to retain the custom page size of 4 x 6???

To use a fix paper size use the hidden settings "paper size" or "DeviceWidthPoints, DeviceHeightPoints" or wait for version 0.9.3.

I've tried changing to a custom size in advanced settings, and also tried using the hidden settings DeviceHeightPoints and DeviceWidthPoints. Any method I try is a failure. I attempt to print a 6"x9" document and the PDF file is invariably 8.5"x11". Any ETA on when this will be fixed?

I know what happened now. I was also printing from Microsoft Word, trying to use my custom 6"x9" paper size. As an experiment I tried printing to that size from a text editor I like, and it worked flawlessly. The common denominator here is Microsoft Word. Leave it to them to screw up something simple like printing to a custom page size!

Here's the description of the problem, which occurs in Word (and probably some other apps, particularly Microsoft ones) on 2000/NT/XP systems:

And here's the solution, a link from that page:

Once you create your own custom form for the PDFCreator printer, the page size problem is fixed. Ideally it'd be nice for PDFCreator to be able to temporarily make a custom form so Word doesn't spaz out, but the blame for this problem rests squarely on the folks in Redmond.
