Security Settings

Hello everybody,

I have a problem with the free PDFcreator.
I´m not able to set any security option, there is no Menu-Topic or Item to activate security-settings at all.
Do u have to buy any license to get this possibility?

Hi Chris,
It took quite a bit of trial & error - (the s'ware is great but not very intuitive) but in the end I got this path for you. From the Print Monitor - click the second icon "Options", a new window opens this gives dozens of tweaks.

See the list of Formats - bottom left.

Click on PDF - a Formats window opens on the right.

Click on the "Security" tab - Check the box at the top - "Use Security" and all the greyed out options become available.
