I'm very happy with PDF-creator since 0.8.? Now i uninstalled the 0.8.? and installed a 0.9.2 .
I did not change ever the settings in the older version. But now it made sense to change the autosave-path for some reasons.
In doing so, I got a remarkable freeze time of the whole PC. The taskmanager said 100% CPU for roundabout half an hour. The processlist shows pdfcreator.exe as the 99% process.
The effect is reproducable - even after reboot.
Is there any known help for this issue?
My system is a WIN 2000. The directory V:\!PDF\ is on a local drive, but is connected via network!
There is no difference if there are applications opened or not. I watched the same results with only the settings-dialog of PDF-creator opened and only this specific setting changed. The freeze starts immediately after pressing the 'Save'-button.
Use you the old ini-mode?
Hello,
thanks for the quick response.
What is the 'old ini mode' ?
BTW I think, I know where the problem is.
I added two lines in the filename replacements list, too.
But I found now hundreds - may be thousands - copies of all the lines (you know: Microsoft Word; doc etc) in the window. You can scroll down may be some hundreds lines down, but whatever of a number lines I deletetd off the list, ther stay a constant number of lines again and again.
Might be, there is a copy of every document, I've printed with PDF-creator?
Any ideas??
Werner
Mhmm ....
This bug is fixed in 0.9.3.
Frank
is there any thought of a date for launching the 0.9.3?

Is there a problem, or am I doing wrong?
Werner
