Converting v.v. small documents

I created a Word document the size of a business card and then used pdf creator to turn it into a .pdf document.

The conversion itself was OK but the new .pdf is A4 sized, and won't stay "small" like the size of the word document I used for the conversion.

Can anybody help?

I want the .pdf document to be business-card sized too.
