Ghostscript GPL 8.54

Just wondering if we could get a new build of PDFCreator with the latest Ghostscript GPL version (8.54). Seems like Ghostscript is moving away from the AFPL licensing.

Thanks,

Aymeric

I know. But I can't find an exe binary and the redmon files coming with the afpl license. :-(

It is my understanding that the GPL version of 8.54 is a rerelease of the source of the AFPL according to the readme.

Not sure what EXE you can't find.
This one?
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=1897&package_id=108733&release_id=421473

The file is not listed on the main page
http://sourceforge.net/projects/ghostscript/
but is there.

This all seems consistent with the main site
http://www.ghostscript.com/doc/GPL/index.htm

As far as the redmon files go I am not sure what to say. In looking and digging the project has not been updated in a while. It was supposed to be updated in 2005 and was not Even the author's main web site
http://www.ghostgum.com.au/ has not been updated in a while. I am a little over all concerned about this as the program ages and driver issues change. This could be especially an issue as Microsoft gets more strict with some driver issues in Vista.

I wonder if the Author would GPL the redmon files and someone could pick it up and update as needed?

I see that a binary of gpl 8.54 is available now. Now it is possible to release a setup only with the gpl Ghostscript version.
