Hello,
When we use the PDFCreator program (v 0.9.1 installed on XP Pro SP2) from an administrator user session, the PDF creation works perfectly.
From the moment where the program is used from a non administrator user (a simple user account), an error (#481) is immediately raised as soon as the print button is pressed.
Looking at this forum, I found a temporaly solution wich consists to add the "Domain users" group with "Modify" rights to the following directory => "C:\Windows\system32\Config\SystemProfile\Local Settings\temp".
Is there a way to "force" the application to use the "C:\Documents and settings\username\Local Settings\temp" directory instead of the previous temp directory into the "System32" directory ?
Didier.
I need a screenshot or the complete error protocol.
Hi,
Thanks for you reply.
Could you please send me your e-mail address and I'll then send you the screenshots.
Perhaps the above informations will be sufficient for you :
Error-Nr : 481 (Incorrect image)
Modul : modMain
Procedure : StartProgram
Line : 51040
If I try to press the "SAVE" button, another error is displayed : "Execution Error 75 - Error into path"
Kind regards,
Didier
At first you ahould check version 0.9.3.
Second I need more information. Is this a standalone workstation? Do you work with special user profiles?
I just test the 0.9.3 version and it's exactly the same thing... same error from the user profile (works from administrative one).
PDFCreator is installed as standard install (not for server) and used by a standard domain user profile without any particular things...
Thanks.
The computer is in a domain? Is the prfile a mandatory profile or not? Is the profile on a server path or local? Use you the old ini mode?
Yes, the computer is in a domain, the domain user profile is not a mandatory one and the user document and settings' folder situated localy on the computer.
What do you mean by "old ini mode"...?
Please check this.
