When I run setup of newer version of PDFCreator (for this time, 0.97), a pop up barks on me:
The program is installed already.
For a new installation uninstall the program first.
The setup will be cancelled.
Many utilites can handle it gracefully without bothering a user. Moreover, no Uninstall link is present in Start menu folder of PDFCreator, and displaying a list of apps for uninstall using Add/Remove control panel takes quite a long time on my machine. What about developing a solution for upgrading where anything what can be done before rebooting is done and the rest is done after rebooting, getting rid of that pesky alert box which I sincerely hate.
