Making Word Created Hyperlinks Active

Is it possible to make word-created hyperlinks (i.e. hyperlinks within a word document where the actual URL is hidden) active in the pdf created from PDF-Creator?

URLs that are visible are active, but any hidden URLs in documents I create are not active.

Use pdf-t-maker in conjunction with PDFCreator.
