Sorry if I ask something well known - went thru faq/forum with no result:
can PDFcreator simultaneously save to pdf (asking usesr for filename would be fine) and simultanously print a hardcopy to (default) printer?
I'm using my own homebrewn solution based on ghostscript/makepdf/redmon which is fine but doesn't work properly on terminal server - so looking for altternatives.
Thanks a lot!
Miroslav
Yes, very simple. Go to Options\Print and activate "Print after saving".
I just wanted to make sure.
Yup, installed - all familiar to me (based on redmon/ghostscript ...). I was programing myself the "sauce" around with shell scripts but you guys made pretty good GUI job I was way too lazy to do!
Thx!
Miroslav
Something weird happens. The hardcopy is 2x2 oversized so just left upper quarter of page prints. The .pdf file is OK (!).
What can be wrong please?
Miroslav
It must be your printer setting.
I've tested it without any problems.
In 0.9.3 the gui has settings for fix paper sizes.

I tested hp laserjet and even "Microsoft Office Document Image Writer" - same results.
I'll try it on another computer an let you know
Miroslav
I've attached action after saving:
C:\Program Files\Ghostgum\gsview\gsprint.exe -query "
and it works as supposed - perfect printout, MUCH smaller (4%) than printout from PDFcreator.
Where the *ck can be a prob ?!
Miroslav
Seems that some printers go nuts when -dFIXEDRESOLUTION is not passed to GhostScript for printout.
Am I the only luser with oversize prob? Seems it mostly occures on "less inteligent" printers (PS printers seem to be OK). Any test results will be appreciated!
Thx

It would be really great if it could print to the default printer without any prompts or pop ups, totally invisible.
Use version 0.9.3.
