Hi,
I'd like to know if PDF Creator can generate from a DWG file, a PDF file.
Tks
Yes. Very simple. Print it using your dwg application an PDFCreator.
No it cannot generate a file by itself, if you have something that is capable of printing DWG files, then you can make a PDF of that. I do it all the time at work.
Agree, you need the app to print the DWG therfore create the PDF, I also use the software for exactly this. One quirk is that if I use a PDF watermark, the PDF layout automatically rotates from landscape to portrait, no matter what the settings. Sure, I can rotate the PDF, but.....any thoughts?
I'm also having this problem. When using pdfcreator from autocad all landscape drawings are rotated to portrait format. Nothing I do seems to keep this from happening. Of course the recipient could manually rotate the file, once they've recieved it, but that's a little inconvenient.
I've looked for a watermark feature in Option so I could turn it off but couldn't find it. Maybe being able to turn it off would solve the proble???
Anyone have a fix for this or is this the limitation of Free software?
Thanks,
Kerry
I have no autocad for testing only autosketch.

You see a watermark?

There is no such limitation.
Frank
In the printer properties change the Orientation to rotated landscape I have Acad and this is how I get it to be orientated correctly. But what I can't remember is if you leave in Acad Portrate or Landscape try both should work.
