We have PDFCreator shared on a file and Printer server. We also have it running as a service.

When a users sends a print job it save the file in a folder on the server, then we have a script that chnages the permission of the folder so only the user can access it, then it triggers a vb script which  e-mail the file to them as an attachment.

We are having a issue sometime when the PDF's are getting saved in the wrong users folders. Therefore its getting sent to the wrong user. How can I touble shoot the issues.

From the Event Viewer i can see that the correct user is sending the print job.  It seams that its the PDFCreator that is using the wonge username.  I can upload the scipts if needed.

Thanks

Jo

At the moment I have no solution. Is it possible that you check in which path the file is saved? Is this the path of the user that prints before? Please upload your script.

Thanks in advance.

Same here, in a Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2 Terminal Server environment. The wrong users transiently get pop-ups prompting them for details on someone else's print job. Scary.
