Is there a Virus in Version 1.0.1?
My Antivius-Program (ESET nod32 Antivirus) shows (wihout installing the toolbar!) different alerts when I install the version 1.0.1, espacially in relation to the "pdfforge toolbar", and quarantines 5 files!

McAfee Security Scan Plus found two files in my c:\program files\pdfforgetoolbar\ff\components directory that are infected with Artemis Trojan viruses or virus. They are the pdfforgetoolbarff.dll and the searchsettingsff.dll.
I tried to uninstall the pdfforgetoolbar from my computer using the Control Panel program removal utility but received the message that "a program from an unknown publisher", c:\windows\installer\19add7b5.msi wanted to make changes to this computer.
I have no idea why this toolbar got installed on my computer since I checked that I did not want it when I downloaded pdfcreator.
The question is, how do I safely uninstall the pdfforge toolbar program?
(Using 64-bit Windows 7.)
Same here. Trojan Artemis found using Stinger.
I think it is quite disturbing that no one official replies to that post, since an infection is a very serious issue and does not make me feel comfortable using this software at all.
