pdfcreator starts installer for another program

since I installed another program called "partsmart", every time I run pdfcreator, windows installer attempts to install partsmart several times before pdfcreator runs.
I saw the faq item about installer problem but this doesnt seem to apply.
FYI I solved this by just uninstalling & reinstalling partsmart.
