pdf/a filesize

Hi everbody,

why is the filesize of a pdf/a so big?

Without pdf/a: 65kb
With pfd/a: 1,37MB!

I used the predefined settings for ghostscript in pdfcreator 0.9.5.

thanks for answering.

The filesize is at file system.

Validation of a created pdf/a file fails also.
