Hopefully you all will be able to help me devise this system.

I need a printer that upon receiving a print job does one of the following things and possibly both.

1. Convert the print job that is being printed into a pdf and autosave that file to a specified location.

2. Retrieve the Name of the PC from which the print job originated and then save that to a specified location.

3. Do both.

Basically we have some systems that if printing is not managed correctly will default to the first alphabetic printer in the list. If I can create a printer which helps me to identify the source of the rogue print jobs and tuck into the first slot alphabetically, then I can resolve the issue as well as reduce paper consumption on that poor first in line printer.
