Submitted by capoccione on Tue, 2008-04-22 23:41.

hi, i'm new on the forum.... first i wll make my excuses for my poor enghlish.. i'll do my better for explaine well.

i'm interest to know how part of the program aren't under GNU Licens.

i Ask this because i would use it for my little firm and i'm scared for the restriction that the utilization could be produced.

i've notice that in the latest release the programmer change the virtual printer in a GLP ghostscrip 8.61 (opensource) this is great!! and i supposed that in the future the next release the programmer will push the devoleped in that direction i suppose.

howerewer ..the question is can i use the PDFcreator to protect my document? and can i send that document to my customer whitout problem? (law problem)

Thanks for you answer in advance and sorry again for my enghlis ..God save the OPEN SOURCE !!!!

thanks ..by Federico from Rome

You can install PDFCreator on all your computers in your company. You can create pdfs (protected and unprotected) as many as you and your company like.

But you can't sell PDFCreator because it uses a special dll (redmon) which comes with another license that forbids the selling.
