Truncated output

Submitted by alexandrem on Tue, 2007-03-13 04:58.

Hi,

We are trying to create a PDF from a one page Excel spreadsheet. It print OK to a regular printer. It previews OK in Excel, but when creating a PDF with PDFCreator, it truncates the bottom 1/3 of the page.

It also shrinks an embeded logo on that spreadsheet if some of the rows in that spreadsheet is removed from the middle of the page.

This problem appears on different computers on the network. All computers are using V 0.9.3.

The same document is properly handled by PDF995.

So I guess this eliminates issues with the Excel spreadsheet itself or the computer.

Can this be solved?

Here is the XLS file together with the 2 PDF results:

Thanks for your help

Hello,
I have tried to search for such a forum because of the same problem as Alexandre has described.
Shortly said: about 4 cm of the bottom part of a MS Excel document is missing (A4 format).
Footer is printed out without any problem, however.
Using Windows XP Prof, Office 2003 Prof.
Other applications are error free - but MS Excel.
For anybody willing to help:
- new document
- number lines from 1 to 60 down the page
- choose Preview using your default printer - I can see 54 lines numbered (default margins setting)
- choose PDF Creator printer and hit Preview button - I can see only 46 and a half lines; the rest is cut off.
If I am the only one - OK, I am (my PC is) wrong.
Once I saw Alexandre's topic...
I can not help myself - I consider this product defective.
Would anybody advise us, please?
Thanks.
Roman
