Look here before posting about problems

There are some common problem while using, installing or uninstalling PDFCreator. For these, we have a section frequently asked questions (FAQ).

Many problems disappear, when you reinstall PDFCreator. To do so, uninstall PDFCreator and reboot afterwards. Then install PDFCreator again.

If this could not help you, please feel free to post your question in the forums. Please write your question in english, so we and other people can understand it.
If you have big problems with english, then german would be ok as well, but it could cause other people with the same problem to not understand the discussion.

Sounds familiar to the FAQ case, but the driver is installed and uninstall-reboot-install does also not help.

Running Windows Vista with SP1 and
Adobe CS3 (with Adobe Acrobat and Adobe PDF driver)

Install works fine, setup log shows no errors, driver is installed and visible as such in the print menu of the applications.

Running PDF Creator looks OK, printing a test page also works fine.

Then trying to print from any application then results in a print without a pop-up box to ask for file name or anything else. It just prints (seen on the application task bar) without any output file.

Can't start PDF Creator from the start menu, it just doesn't pop up.

Can start PDF Creator settings from the start menu, all looks OK. Pressing Print Test Page results in an error message pop-up with Error-Nr. 401 in line 50480.

Trying to print the error protocol result in no action. Trying to save results in no file being stored.

Anything I've done wrong? Any suggestions?
