Can you help us translate PDFCreator?

Categories:

PDFCreator is being used all over the world, and this is not only down to us. It has always been our goal to make our software as accessible as possible. This includes a fast installation, an easy workflow in the application and also allowing to translate the user interface into as many langauges as possible. Volunteers from across the globe have played a huge role by translating our PDF Converter and ensuring that people who don’t speak English can make use of it as well. It’s an honor to have a community of translators that enjoy supporting our free Open Source software by helping others to understand it and we’ll never tire of
saying thank you!

So far PDFCreator is available in the following languages:

Catalan, Czech, Corsican (France), Danish, German, English, Spanish, French, Irish, Italian, Lithuanian, Hungarian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Romanian, Swedish, Slovak, Slovenian, Persian, Russian, Chinese (Traditional) and Chinese (Simplified).

There is still a huge amount of languages which we would love to see PDFCreator being translated to. With the European Day of Languages coming up in September, we thought it would be a good opportunity to reach out and ask if anyone would like to translate PDFCreator to, for example, Hindi, Standard Arabic, Japanese or Turkish.

But it doesn’t only have to be the big languages. If you speak a language like for example Icelandic, we would be happy to see PDFCreator in your language. To see how it works, please visit:http://translate.pdfforge.org We'd love you to become part of our translator community!

Make sure to check our blog again on 26th September where we will be celebrating the International Day of Laguages with posts including updates about any new languages for PDFCreator. If you don't want to miss out on any updates make sure to follow us on Facebook or Twitter.
