International Mother Language Day - Looking for translatorsCategories:News
It's International Mother Language Day on February 21 and if you have been following us for a while, you know that we love languages. We always thrive to make PDFCreator as accessible as possible around the world. So far it has been translated into 24 languages by our translator community: Catalan, Czech, Corsican (France), Danish, German, English, Spanish, French, Irish, Italian, Lithuanian, Hungarian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Romanian, Swedish, Slovak, Slovenian, Persian, Russian, Chinese (Traditional), Chinese (Simplified) and Finnish.
If your mother tongue isn't among these languages and you would like to help translate PDFCreator, please visit http://translate.pdfforge.org It is easy to sign up and there is a description that helps you to get started. While it would be great to have big languages like Hindi, Standard Arabic, Japanese or Turkish on board, we also welcome smaller languages like for example Icelandic.
If you don't have a lot of time but would still like to translate a little bit, a lot of languages have only been translated partially and would still need more translation before we can apply them to PDFCreator. So if you can only add a little bit, you would still be playing an important part in helping with making PDFCreator available in your language.
We are very grateful to our translator community and were happy to see that more people signed up to our translation platform last year. It would be great to see you join!
