In order to renew your PDFCreator license, you need access to our license server. If you already have your license server credentials you may want to skip this part and continue with step 3 or head directly to the PDFCreator license management.
You can access the license server at license.pdfforge.org If you do not have your credentials yet, please click on "Request Credentials".
Please enter the e-mail address that you used to purchase PDFCreator.
Tip: Search for “PDFCreator license” in your e-mails. If you are still not sure which e-mail address you used, you can try to perform this step with your name. Please make sure that the name is spelled exactly as you entered it when purchasing PDFCreator.
After a click on "Request Password" an e-mail with a link to reset your password will be sent to your e-mail address. This link is valid for 24 hours.
Open the link you received in a browser and enter your new password. For your own safety, you have to enter the password again to minimize the risk of misspelling.
After entering your new password, you will be directed to your profile page.
In the License Overview you have an overview of your licenses as well as their activation states and expiry dates. The "Extend License" button is located right under each license. Please click the button for the license that you want to extend.
On the next page, you can select the plan you want to use for the extension. Please follow the given steps and check that you are extending the correct license. A click on "Extend" opens a window with the store page at our payment provider.
Please note that a license can only be extended using this window. If you copy the URL or open it in another browser or on another PC, the license is not extended. Instead a new license is being generated.
At the store page, you proceed to purchase PDFCreator as usual. When the purchase is done it shows the same license key as you had before and you can check in the license server that the expiry date has been changed according to the selected plan.
